Kicking ass & taking names! Lol. Carmelo Anthony is on a roll. First it was coach Mike Woodson, now it’s Steve Novak and apparently JR Smith could be next. Melo has been making bets on Syracuse. In his freshman year at Syracuse, Carmelo led the Orange to the 2003 NCAA Championship & made an impact that will last forever. They retired his jersey in February. So of course he has Syracuse to take it all the way this year. They’ve advanced to the Final Four and play Michigan on Saturday. Mike Woodson already paid up on his bet and now Steve Novak has too. Dick Clark’s Former Frat Is Using The $1 Million He Donated For What?!
Yesterday, Dick Clark’s estate donated $1 million to his former college frat, Delta Kappa Epsilon at Syracuse University. Dick has always been quite generous to his DKE family, in fact, and even bought the very house that they reside in on campus now. For that reason, the guys have revealed that the major donation will be used toward fixing the home, which they say is in desperate need of repair. “It wouldn’t mean a lot if we blew all the money on parties because no future classes be able to appreciate it,” a rep for the frat said. Damn. A Project X style party would have been pretty dope, no? LOL!
NCAA:(Video) Syracuse Coach Calls Reporter An Idiot & More During Press Conference
Syracuse mens basketball coach Jim Boeheim is known for not biting his tongue and letting any remarks fly out of his mouth. When you have a coach like that, who is forced to do press conferences after a tough loss, you never know what will be said. ESPN reporter Andy Katz attempted to ask him a question and coach Boeheim let him have it. Soon as Katz finished his question, coach said “I’ll answer anybody’s question but yours … because you’re an idiot … and really a disloyal person … and a few other things I could add but I’m not gonna go there.” In between his quotes he was giving Katz the “I wish I could stab you look”. Rumor has it the reason Boeheim reacted to him like that is Katz reportedly wrote a story on one of the Syracuse players that was supposed to be off the record. You get what you deserve. NCAA: Feds Drop Case Against Bernie Fine From Syracuse
This is another sad story. In a way I am glad it’s over, but that doesn’t mean anyone was proven innocent or guilty. Fine had a few ex-ballboys from the Syracuse University basketball team accuse him of molesting them for years earlier in the decade. The statue of limitation prevented police from investigating some of the accusations, but not all. However, the ones they were able to investigate did not lead to any hard evidence. I am a strong believer in karma. If those boys made up the stories for attention or money and ruined this man’s life, eventually it will come back to them, as well as if coach Fine really did do those horrific things and got away with it, that too will eventually come back to him.
