I really hope this doesn’t happen. The Oklahoma City Thunder are one of the most exciting teams to watch as an NBA fan with Durant & Westbrook, not too mention favorites to make it back to the NBA finals. Westbrook will reportedly undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, which will sideline him for possibly the entire Playoffs. This has OKC fans sick. Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock underwent hernia surgery after injuring himself during his WrestleMania collision with John Cena. Yesterday he tweeted a great photo of himself in a hospital bed. He was flexing his muscles while wearing a Superman shirt and a hospital bonnet. Lol. Gotta love it. We’re wishing him a speedy recovery! Check it out…

I made the announcement that Kobe joined Instagram and it didn’t take long for him to give us an inside look at his life. Last night Kobe went down with a devastating injury during the LA Lakers game against the Golden State Warriors. Kobe said he felt a pop and was practically certain that he tore his achilles. Still the Lakers had to have an MRI done today and the results are in. Read more after the jump.

Such great news that Kevin Ware is going to be ok and it was NOT a career ending injury. It was one of the most horrific injuries the sports world has ever seen. Everyone from LeBron James to Lil Wayne sent out their well wishes and prayers for Ware. Well he is speaking out on the injury for the first time. You gotta feel bad for this guy. You don’t have to be a Mets fan for this to be big news. Johan Santana, the Mets best all around pitcher looks like he is going to miss the entire 2013 upcoming season due to a shoulder injury. It’s sad because he already missed the entire 2011 season with the same exact injury. He had surgery in 2011, a surgery which less than a dozen pitchers in baseball history were ever able to come back from. Santana was able to come back and last year threw the first no-hitter in Mets history. But now with the injury to the same shoulder, it is likely not only his season, but his career is over as well. This was the last year of his 6 year/$137 million dollar contract, and the odds of any team ever offering him a contract again are slim. Santana was examined in New York on Wednesday by team doctor David Altchek, who performed the original Sept. 2, 2010, procedure. An MRI revealed a probable re-tear. At the request of Santana’s agent, Altchek consulted with renowned doctors James Andrews and Lewis Yocum. Both confirmed the probable diagnosis of the re-tear of the anterior capsule, Alderson said.
