The bad news that most fans were expecting happened today when the Bulls announced that Derrick Rose is out for the season after having knee surgery this morning. He had the medial meniscus repaired in his right knee. The surgery went well & one nurse made sure to get her photo op as soon as he came out — still looking like he was high from the drugs. No one wants their pic taken after suregery … esp. an athlete that has been through so much. Can the guy get some space?! Geeeeeez-us.

47-year-old Cassandra Feuerstein is now after police. She’s claiming –in a federal lawsuit– that they used excessive force when pushing her into a jail cell. She later explains that reconstructive surgery was needed to “replace the bones that had been shattered.” Her claims aren’t without proof, there’s footage from jail surveillance cameras that show Officer Michael Hart doing exactly what Feuerstein claims.
