Back in April, some of the acts for the main stage of Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert were announced: Kid Ink, Tinashe, Young Thug, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, Bryson Tiller, DJ Khaled “and friends” and G.O.O.D. Music featuring Pusha T and Big Sean. Today, they added three other major acts to the lineup: Future, Travi$ Scott and a Terror Squad reunion! It’s going to be LIT!
Hot 97 Summer Jam 2016 Festival Stage Lineup Announced
Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert will go down on Sunday, June 5 at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Starting today, April 5, at noon, you can purchase pre-sale tickets with the special code you can get HERE. General tickets will be available starting Saturday, April 9. FilmOn TV Strikes Multi-Year Deal With Hot 97’s Summer Jam
You may be familiar with FilmOn TV – the streaming service owned by billionaire Alki David, who signed Chief Keef to a [troubled] deal, and also runs the hologram company that brought Tupac to life at Coachella a few years back. They’ve now struck a multi-year deal with Emmis Communications, and will be streaming Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert, starting with this year’s event. According to a press release, this deal also gives FilmOn the rights to host a new Who’s Next competition, where fans will vote for artists to be showcased at Summer Jam. The winner of the contest will also receive a record deal with with FilmOn Music. Summer Jam 2016 goes down June 5 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
