LSLXCVI is a brand ran by Lesly Saint Louis (17) kid from Brooklyn, NY currently located in Philly. Today I’m presenting his “Power77” Tee, that is now available on pre-order. The shirt is an all over print featuring Kanye complimented with the infamous POWER77 on the back. The brand started a while back but has been through so much. Lesly changed the name so many times its not even funny. He remembers one of the names being B.o.T.S meaning “Back on the Scene”. The logo was even a bow tie. So he took matters into his own hands. Boc Essentials is brand ran by three young teenagers by the names of Josh Urrutia (19), Christopher Allen (19), Jordan Evans (19) all from Bay Area, CA. the brand started at the beginning of this year 2013 and since then has had some good success thus far. The featured tee is the “Resurrection Tee” which is a long sleeve piece that contains 2pac tattoos on the front of the shirt in the exact placement he had them. The shirts are featured in white , black, and red all dropping this fall. They date when they will the shirts release are TBA. the brand is inspired by the word, “BLACKDOUT CONSCIOUS”, they think of two ideal meanings. The first, having a dead or inactive conscious. The second, is having the “BLACKDOUT” state of mind. This state of mind can be defined as giving whatever it is you’re doing your all until you can no longer, or until you are passed out or deceased. For example; partying, grinding, balling, until you pass out or better yet blackout. When you put 2 and 2 together we can define the concept as: using the absence of your conscious to adopt only one way of thinking… going hard “…til you blackout”. Each shirt features a different meaning starting with Hokage meaning “fire shadow”, Kazekage meaning “wind shadow”, Mizukage meaning “water shadow”, Raikage meaning “lightning shadow”, and finally Tsuchikage meaning ” earth shadow” they wanted to corporate all 5 kages from the anime Naruto Shippuuden on a shirt since they are a group. They started the brand in May 2013 when they lived in Los Angeles, being around so many people that were into fashion inspired them to start something up. The brand is called 199x, standing for the entire 90s era, which is the biggest influence on our generation’s style, including everything in the 90s era, music, movies, fashion. The “Lil Kim Hard Core Tee” features the notorious female rapper Lil Kim on the shirt holding a gun seductively to her mouth, shirt is featured in white. New Generation is a brand ran by two young dudes from West Side Of Lansing, Michigan by the names of Kenny V and Sef Leavell. Today, I will be presenting their ‘Hunnits Tee’. The tee is featured in white with a female on the top right with ‘100’ on the other side and under that are upside down crosses that cover the shirt bottom on the right side below their is ‘NG” in a very creative font. On the sleeves the shirt has ‘# HUNNITS’. This shirt brings back some sort of OG era and reminds you of a shirt seen on the west coast. I love it.
