If rap doesn’t work out for Lupe Fiasco, he certainly can find a home in the gaming world. The Chicago MC has been known to have some pretty major skills when it comes to video games, and proved that earlier this week when he beat reigning Street Fighter champion Daigo Umehara at the Street Fighter V launch gala in San Francisco. Umerhara actually holds the Guinness World Record for most Street Fighter tournament wins, so it’s pretty dope that Lupe was easy to beat him during a best-of-five match! Even though it took them years to admit it , the creators of the street fighter video game created the character “Balrog” after Mike Tyson. For those that do not know, Balrog was a grimey looking, street tough fighter who pretty much only used his hands, while other characters kicked and did other things. Someone had the creative mind to take Tyson’s real fights and put the sound effects from the Balrog character with it and it is hilarious.
