Mac Miller Settles $10 Million Lawsuit From Lord Finesse; Releases Statement

Mac Miller started 2013 off fresh and new, leaving a crazy $10 million lawsuit back in 2012. We were all shocked when rap legend Lord Finesse made the decision to sue the relative newcomer last summer, not only for the outrageous amount but for the fact that it was over a mixtape cut…something Mac essentially didn’t make a profit off of. However, Finesse’s argument was that the track (“Hip 2 Da Game” off Mac’s debut tape Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza) was Mac’s big ticket to fame and the reason he’s making the dough he is today. Ke$ha Clairifies Her Original Response To “Die Young” Being Pulled After Newtown Massacre

Ke$ha’s single “Die Young” was burning up the charts these past few months, but radio quickly pulled the song due to its sensitive content following the Newtown tragedy last week. Upon hearing the news, the singer took to Twitter to release a statement, saying she was “forced” to sing the lyrics and she didn’t really want to. Young Jeezy Comments On Dropping Freddie Gibbs; CTE Finds A Home At Atlantic Records

Yesterday night, we reported that rapper Freddie Gibbs could very well have been dropped by Young Jeezy’s CTE label, judging by tweets and various sources. This morning Freddie himself confirmed it during a radio interview and now, Jeezy has released a statement regarding the matter. Also in the press release, it was announced that his CTE label was moving to Atlantic Records, where Jeezy is currently Senior VP of A&R at.
