The Golden State Warriors fired head coach Mark Jackson after rumors of disruption between him and the Warriors staff. The new job opening is quite an attractive one with the Warriors greatly improving over the past two years. It’s good enough to even attract a coach who’s been highly sort out but has remained on the market.
NBA: Rockets Coach Kevin McHale Might Be Fired & This Could Be His Replacement
The Houston Rockets were officially eliminated from the playoffs last night after losing to the Portland Trailblazers. It’s the second year in a row they were booted in the first round and there’s talk that coach Kevin McHale’s shortcomings may be the root of the problem. It’s believed around the league that he will be fired and this person could be his replacement.
NBA: Atlanta Hawks Looking to Get Coach Stan Van Gundy & Dwight Howard
After a big shakeup and trading away their star player Joe Johnson, the Atlanta Hawks finished sixth in the Eastern Conference and suffered a first round outser at the hands of the Indiana Pacers. While some may consider their season underwhelming, others consider it a success when you look at what they had to work with. Vinny Del Negro’s future with the LA Clippers has been in question since last season. Many thought he wasn’t able to properly rotate the deep squad as well as maintain control over the team.
