The main fear when reporting live is that you never know what’s going to happen. It can make for good TV or you can have a random person do something or scream something that shouldn’t be aired on live TV. Case in point, the “f*ck her right in the p*ssy” guy. It originated with Cincinnati’s CBS-affiliated WKRC-TV. While “reporting” on a local Ohio oil spill, the unidentified female reporter turns to an older man in a black hoodie for more insight on as to how locals are suffering. His response: “I was sitting on my front porch, grabbed a beer, and f*cked her right in the p*ssy!” The clip turned out to be a hoax as confirmed by the news station who says the woman is not affiliated with them. None the less, the clip still went viral with numerous people getting their 15 minutes of fame by repeating the phrase on live TV. And now here’ssss SportsCenter.

ESPN truly has become a glorified TMZ, instead of a sports news network. People in the sports industry tend to look down on sites that mix gossip and pop culture with sports, but it seems ESPN has taken the reigns when it comes to that. More and more of the airtime on Sportscenter is filled with nonsense and “what if” scenarios, instead of actual sports coverage. Apparently one of the anchors, Neil Everett does not really appreciate the lack of coverage something important can get compared to the hours of wondering if Johnny Manziel will start, or the sickening coverage of Tim Tebow a couple years ago. What I liked most about Wayne going on SportsCenter was you could tell his freestyle literally was off the top of his head and he didn’t go in there with some written material. After making an appearance on the show to reveal the cover art for the Carter V, he dropped some bars over the SportsCenter anthem and made it sound decent. Weezy has always been a big sports fan so him going on the network to promote the album was a no brainer.

I was watching this live earlier today and wondering if anyone else caught it. I guess so. Ronda Rousey was on ESPN promoting her upcoming fight when she let the word “shitty” slip and kept right on talking like it never happened.
