Rider Strong (far left) played Cory’s best friend Shawn on the 90’s hit show Boy Meets World. Ever since news hit that the show will be getting a spin-off on the Disney Channel, people have been wondering who from the original cast will be joining. Both Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) have officially signed on to reprise their roles, but there’s been no other information released in regards to the other stars like big brother Eric (Will Friedel), the neighbor/principal Mr. Feeny (William Daniels…who’s got to be old as HECK now, LOL) and of course, Shawn. UPDATE: The Boy Meets World Spin-off Is Definitely A GO…And Both Ben Savage & Danielle Fishel Are Returning!
It’s definitely happening! The loud rumors of a Boy Meets World spinoff on the Disney channel have officially been confirmed, with the original show’s stars Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga) will be reprising their roles! The show, Girl Meets World, will focus on their teenaged daughter Riley as she navigates through those awkward teen years, much like her parents back in the 90’s. No one else from the original cast has signed on just yet, but there’s plenty of time to go. They’re currently on a “nationwide casting search” for the role of Riley. I can’t wait to tune in! Another Jersey Shore Cast Member Gets A Spin-Off
First Pauly D, then Snooki && J-Woww, now Vinny. After all the sex, gym, tanning, and laundry on the Jersey Shore, these cast members were able to snag themselves another show. I thought for a while there that Vinny could no longer handle the cameras. ‘The Show With Vinny’ is the title and it will be a talk show basically, inviting guests into his home to chit chat and enjoy some fine Italian cuisine.
