The Boy Scouts of America have been getting backlash from musicians all over and the next on the roster – MADONNA. The “Like a Virgin” singer attended the GLAAD Media Awards Ceremony dressed in a boy scouts uniform. “I wanted to be a Boy Scout, but they wouldn’t let me join,” Madonna said during a speech. “I think that’s f***ed up. New Jersey teen Jacob Rudolph took a stand for an entire community in front of his entire school. The musically gifted teen from Parsippany,NJ stood up for a speech and “came out” in front of his classmates and revealed his true sexual orientation. He said he is LGBT and he decided to take this stand for everyone that considers themselves from this community. He was brave enough to provoke criticism, but also to deaden rumors. Go Jacob! An iconic leader known for standing up and allowing people like myself to be heard as well as his role in the advancement of civil rights for all man would have been celebrating his 84th birthday if he were still alive.
