This is a pretty sticky situation. Nas was paid $315k (zamn!) to perform at a New Year’s Eve show in Angola. Apparently he missed his flight, and the investor was NOT happy. He thought the promoter was just trying to play him, so he had his goon squad kidnap both the promoter AND his son and held them at gunpoint until they got their money back. Thought this was really nice to see! If you didn’t know, Beyonce’s sis Solange has been with video director Alan Ferguson for three years now. Back in 04, she’d had a quickie wedding with her college boo Daniel Smith since she had become pregnant with her now 7 year old son, Daniel Julez. It was pretty obvious the wedding was just to save face, and they divorced just a couple years later. Chaka Khan Takes Full Custody Of Her 10 Year Old Granddaughter
After filing for temporary custody for her granddaughter in September (because she claims the girls’ parents, her son and his girlfriend, are drug addicts), Chaka has been granted permanent guardianship over her granddaughter Daija Jade Holland. Chaka’s sister Tammy McCrary was awarded co-guardianship. It’s sad that had to be that way but at least the girl will be in better care! Hopefully her parents get it together soon! Marisa Mendez
