Sadly, Adrian Peterson’s 2 year old son has passed away. The tragic news was reported just a short time ago. Earlier we reported a man who was dating the boy’s mother was arrested and charged with assault and battery of an infant. I expect those charges to now be upgraded to murder in the coming hours or days. This is such a terrible story. Adrian has asked for the media to respect his privacy, so not many other details are available as of yet, but we will stay on top of this. The entire #IFWT team would like to send our condolences to the Peterson family.

I commend the rapper turned entrepreneur, but after the dreadful text messages to his son, Marquise back in July you wonder, what’s the relationship like with his own child – while he’s out here teaching another’s kid. This is some disturbing news we are learning this morning. The 2 year old son of Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, was attacked and found unresponsive by police. The boy was allegedly beaten by the man his mother is currently dating. Peterson and his baby mother are not together. This story is just disgusting to even hear about. Hit the jump for more details.
