Sometimes it only takes one lucky fan to get an artist to drop the dime. Pharrell revealed to a fan the news of his up-coming album, G I R L via twitter. The 10-track album is up for pre-order grabs and features the song that will have you beaming with emotion, “Happy.” Features haven’t been detailed as of yet, but we’ll keep a look-out – fans’ twitters and all. Though he didn’t release the official tracklist just yet, will.i.am has revealed the names of collaborators on his forthcoming album #WILLPOWER, and it’s pretty extensive! The Black Eyed Peas frontman has a a laundry list of names and it reads like a who’s who! Find out who’s on it below.
A bunch of my colleagues (and our very own Funk Flex!) are over at the Best Buy Theater right now for Vibe’s show with A-Trak, A$AP Rocky & the A$AP Mob and Pusha T. After Funk rocked the crowd with the opening set, Pusha took the stage with “I Don’t Like” then transitioned into some Clipse classics. (Thanks Erika for the heads up.)
