Well damn, these guys really aren’t feeling Slim Jesus out here, huh? He’s like Iggy Azalea adjace! Last night, the Ohio rapper was performing his breakout single at a show in Canada, with rapper Black Jesus as his DJ for the night. You’d think because he was his DJ that they’d have some sort of rapport, but apparently, Black gave zero f*cks about that as he cut Slim’s performance short by tussling with him for the mic, then telling the crowd, “Support real hip-hop, b*tch!” A shocked Slim seemed to be in confusion as he nervously laughed off the ambush, looking as if his boy couldn’t possibly have played him like that. I don’t know the nature of their actual relationship – if there even was one at all – but sh*t, that was nuts. Check out the clip below!
Audio: Birdman Was Going Hard To Sign Slim Jesus, But Slim Didn’t Really Care
Despite nearly every artist on Cash Money jumping ship, and despite the issues with Lil Wayne, Birdman is still hoping to recruit more artists to his label. This includes the recent (and controversial) viral sensation, Slim Jesus. Rapper King Yella facilitated a call recently, getting Birdman and Slim on the phone so Bird could make his pitch. In the 4-minute clip (recorded by Yella,) Birdman is going hard to recruit the young Ohio rapper, including Wayne in his incentives package…to which Slim quickly questioned. “Wayne ain’t going nowhere man,” Birdman responded. “I don’t know what you be hearing.” Uh, I don’t know…those lawsuits, the tweets…? Slim didn’t appear to be too interested, though, letting Birdman know he’s pretty booked up. He’s not here for the okie-doke! Check out the video below.

Slim Jesus gained notoriety when his music video for “Drill Time” went viral, sparking conversation because he was seemingly appropriating black culture, admitted he doesn’t use the guns he was waving AND used the Chicago drill sound, despite not being from Chicago.
