We hit the first bump in the road with Samsung’s Galaxy SIV. Now the word is The US will not get the eye tracking technology and will not have a 8 core processor. According to Bloomberg “the Galaxy S IV will not include the feature at launch, although it may appear in “future versions of the phone.” Samsung will instead use a simpler head-tracking technology that will have the ability to pause videos when a user turns away from the screen” Does this mean the GS IV will be a disappointment in the US, probably since all the details have’nt been released and Samsung could have more tricks up their sleeve.
We all know the Galaxy IV is being announced, there have been many rumors, speculations and leaks over the pass week but should we expect when the smartphone actually drops. Samsung has done their best to keep the lids on and so far no real pics have surfaced but then again we still have awhile week until the device is announced.
Samsung is looking to unviel their new deivce the Galaxy SIV in about 2 weeks. Now taking things up a notch to beat out Apple. It was revealed that Apple would release 3 iPhones in 2013. Now to take away Apple’s thunder Samsung is looking to drop 6 different versions of the Galaxy SIV. All variants having the option to have to three different size capacities: 16GB, 32GB, and the much-discussed 64GB, this all according to an insider close to the situation. The rumored spec out the box according to the same insiders says the device should come stacked with 4.99-inch, 1080p screen, an Exynos 5 eight-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. “We were bombarded with requests from U.S. mobile carriers to unveil the Galaxy S IV in the country,” Reuters quoted Samsung mobile chief JK Shin as saying an interview with Korean news site eDaily in Seoul.
The new Blackberry BB10 devices are getting off to a bad start. Analysts thought Blackberry would do great in the first qtr but things changed when rumors swirled that Samsung would be launching their Galaxy SIV in March. Some thought they would launch around April or May, being launched so early will hurt the BB10 device since the SIII was a great success. Analysts said they thought the BB10 device would sell 1.75 million but now they changed their estimates to about 300k. Ouch!!
