Frustration is boiling over in Laker land and on Sunday night, Nick Young took it all out on Anthony Tolliver. The incident took place in the fourth quarter with 8 minutes, 57 seconds left, Young tried to dunk over Detroit’s Anthony Tolliver, who fouled him. Young went down hard, got up and pushed Tolliver.
Things got really heating on Sunday night during the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Indiana Pacers. Midway through the fourth quarter with Indiana leading 77-74, Hibbert tried to establish position on offense when Boozer shoved him to the ground with two arms. Hibbert immediately jumped up and charged at Boozer in response, shoving him back before players from both teams and officials intervened.
Even pro athletes can be sore losers. Matt Adams of the St.Louis Cardinals tried to catch a ball that was drifting foul into the crowd. He ran out of room and a fan caught it instead without interfering with the play. Adams wasn’t too happy and gave the fan a little shove to show his frustration. While the push wasn’t all that serious it is still another example of fan/player interaction which usually never ends well. In this case the kid who caught the ball responded with his middle finger. Hit the jump.
Damn, it got crazy at the Cowboys/Redskins game?! We don’t have a lot of details on how it started or why, but the video says a lot (although some think the kid flopped). Someone caught a security guard shoving a Redskins fan down steps at the stadium. Once the kid takes a tumble, you see other fans get really upset. I’m sure more details will eventually come out and someone might lose their job. Check it out…
Wilson Chandler is a funny guy. During the third quarter of the Nuggets/Timberwolves game on Saturday, Coach George Karl was not happy about a call from one of the refs & shoved Wilson Chandler out of the way trying to get to the official. While Karl received a technical foul, Chandler later took to Twitter about Karl shoving him. At least he has a sense of humor about it. Check out the video to see what happened and Chandler’s response after the jump…
