The rain may be sticking a fork in many people’s plans this Labor Day Weekend. Due to extreme weather conditions, the Electric Zoo music festival on Randall’s Island evacuated and canceled the remainder of the music festival today. Flash flood warnings have been issued for parts of New Jersey, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau County, Westchester County and Putnam County through 6:15 p.m. Sunday. The US Open tennis tournament at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens has also been put on a temporary suspension.
Hurricane Isaac Hits Louisiana Hard!
