The United Nations recognized Palestine Thursday as a non-member observing state in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. In almost direct defiance of the United Nation’s recognition of Palestine, Israel plans to build housing settlements on the West Bank, and other areas that should be considered under Palestinian control. Israeli Officials were against the recognition of Palestine and maintain that any negotiation between the two parties would need to come with pre-conditions. Enegry Company Reaches Settlement In 2010 BP Gulf Spill
Energy companies have finally reached a settlement in the 2010 BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. If you recall, the oil spill was the worst in history, 11 people were killed, thousands of fisherman lost their jobs, countless sea animals were killed or harmed, and people were harmed during clean-up efforts.
