At least that’s one thing off Justin Bieber’s ever-mounting plate of problems. The troubled singer has settled a lawsuit with his former bodyguard, who accused JB of assault and battery, claiming he “berated and punched” him in the chest multiple times after a 2012 concert because he didn’t like the way he’d handled one of his boys. Moshe Benabou, who is an ex-Israeli soldier also sued for more than $420,000 in unpaid overtime. No word on what Justin paid up, but the suit is settled and out of the way. (Sidenote though – Is it just me, or is kind of ridiculous that a former solider sued little itty bitty Justin Bieber for assault and battery? LOL!)
Kanye West Settles Case With Beating Victim
Get hit by Kanye and get a big return! The guy Kanye West beat up in the waiting room of a Beverly Hills chiropractor is getting a big reward for taking the beating… MORE THAN $250,000 reward. Sources say the young man who allegedly let out racial slurs at Kim earlier this month has agreed to the civil settlement and is okay with NOT going forward with a criminal prosecution. Law enforcement say the D.A. has not decided whether to charge Kanye with battery. TMZ states, “There’s almost no chance of that happening. First, the D.A. now has an uncooperative victim. Second, the victim’s alleged racial epithets will not sit well with the jury. And there are probably lots of Kanye fans in the jury pool. During the settlement negotiations the victim’s demand soared to the upper 6 figures, so $250K is just a fraction.” Kanye’s civil lawyer, Shawn Holley, had no comment.

Chris Brown May Be In The Clear In Hit & Run Case
Chris Brown was charged with a hit-and-run for a fender-bender he got in back in May, but he may be in the clear. The woman who he’d hit doesn’t want to have him prosecuted because there was no physical injury and only minor damage to her car, so his lawyer has filed to have the case dropped. But my whole thing is…why did she take it this far to begin with, then?! However, here’s an issue. The L.A. City Attorney has NOT agreed to drop it just yet. They’re currently deliberating right now. And even if they drop the hit-and-run part, there’s still the other charge of Breezy driving without a valid Cali license (as he’s only licensed in VA.) That wouldn’t be that big a deal, but he’s already on probation for the 09 Rihanna thing, so basically, every little thing is a big deal. I hope they just drop it all together!
