Dope! Graduation Rates For Blacks & Latinos Are At An All-Time High!
This is exciting news! According to recent studies, the U.S. Department of Education announced this past Tuesday that U.S. high school graduation rates have reached record highs in the 2013-14 school year, with 82% of teens graduating. There was a 17-point percentage gap in graduation rates between African-American and white students during the 2011-12 school year. However, that percentage decreased to 14.8 during the 2013-14 year.

Students at Berkley High School in California staged a major walkout after racist messages were found written all over the library computers. At first, students didn’t know how are who was responsible for it but apparently the pressure from anger and animosity from the students was felt throughout the school as a student decided he was to come and confess to the crime, read more to hear more about this racist foolery of the day, smh.

(Video) Another One… 17 Connecticut Public Schools Locked Down Under Bomb And Shooting Threats
This seriously needs to stop, like yesterday. Connecticut police reported a call from a gunman himself claiming he was headed to an elementary school armed with a rifle and ready to kill children. Literally a few minutes later, two more calls came in from unidentified sources stating that their were bombs at two high schools as well. The sources were apparently “unverifiable” but no risk were taken as police shutdown seventeen schools near the area.
Amanda Bynes Is Going Back…… To School?!
It’s been awhile since we’ve mentioned anything Amanda Bynes related, but it looks like the former Nickelodeon star turned sour is about to be back in the news. To prove that she’s not a complete hot mess.com, Bynes has decided to go back to school. She started classes (yet again) at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA. She started to go back last year during her melt down but was given the boot after apparently showing up high as a kite to class and asking other students to complete her assignments for her.
