Super Dope: Jeezy Drops Racks On Racks On The Kids For Christmas!
Looks like Santa Clause has some competition. Rapper Young Jeezy dished out $10,000 to his Street Dreams foundation to go towards toys for children in Atlanta on Tuesday. He then rented out a movie theater for the kids to see Annie, which cost him approximately $2,500 after the candy, popcorn, sodas and so on were purchased. After the film screening, Jeezy took 100 lucky kids to Gio’s Italian Restaurant for a nice Christmas lunch. Super dope of the “Seen It All” rapper! Let us not forget this is the SEVENTH year that Jeezy has dropped stacks on the kids for the holidays. Very commendable! Check out some flicks from the outing over in the gallery.
Santa Con 2014 Takes Over NYC!!
You either love and participate in Santa Con or you totally hate it and can’t understand why anyone would dress like Santa (Shame his name in such a way) and go out to Drink til you vomit or pass out. For those of you who don’t know, Santa Con is the annual bar-hopping dress yourself like Santa day. It starts off in Times Square and who knows where these drunk, crazy Santa’s end up. Last years Santa Con featured many fights and disorderly conduct. This year NYC made sure to warn Santa dressers that if they didn’t behave this would be the last year that Santa Con would be allowed. Welp this year seemed a bit more peaceful, of course there were still people vomiting in the streets and out of cars but not too many fights were seen. Maybe people were too busy at the Millions March, a real cause. But that didn’t stop the so many other New Yorkers and foreigners who dressed like Santa and paraded the streets. NBA: Seriously? Disgraced Former Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Wants To Be Santa In The “Hood”
At first glance, this story seems so phony, but in the end there is a silver lining. Donald Sterling, the former Clippers owner who was banned from the NBA for being a racist fool after his rant was recorded and went viral, contacted Youth Mentoring Kids, an organization putting together a Christmas for underprivileged kids in Watts, CA. The charity event is called “Party in the Projects” and will take place this Saturday. Now is it an obvious attempt by Sterling to shake that racist title by offering to be Santa in a mostly black neighborhood? Most likely yes, but in the end many kids who would likely get very little for Christmas will benefit the most from Sterling’s attendance so at least we can look at the bright side of that.
