A Judge denied Apple request on Monday to ban 26 Samsung smartphones, even though the courts said Samsung infringed on patents that Apple had. On the other hand the judge also denied Samsung a motion for a new trail. Right after Apple filed another lawsuit stating that Samsung’s newer Smartphones infringe on Apple patents.How many times can these 2 go to court for the same thing in different countries. Tech Talk News: Verizon Rolling Out Jelly Bean Update Today For Samsung GS III
Verizon announced yesterday that a Jelly Bean OS update should be hitting the Samsung Galaxy III sometime today. According to Verizon the update will be released in phases, after the update the smartphone should be ready for Global use. Also included in the update are new filters in the photo options (I see everyone is trying to keep up with Instagram) and updating the Isis feature. The Isis feature will turn users GS III into a wallet of sorts. Tech Talk Rumors: In Sad News The Galaxy S IV Will Not Have An Unbreakable Display
It was rumored earlier this week that Samsung’s Galaxy S IV would be made with unbreakable glass., using Samsung’s flexible AMOLED technology. According the Verge this was just a rumor and will not be featured on the new device. The Verge actually says that technology is very far away from happening. Instead we should expect a full HD display with pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080, thats something i don’t mind. Tech Talk News: Samsung Says Copy Cat Days Are Over
Samsung chief strategy officer Young Sohn said Samsung is looking to shed its copycat like image and start developing original Samsung devices. This is a big statement coming from Samsung, admitting that they clearly copied Apple devices. Young told MIT Tech review that Samsung is focus on Research and development, so much so that they have opened 8 new R&D laps in the United States. Leading the way with their flag ship devices like the Galaxy S series phones and now the successful line of Note devices Samsung is already on a good path on developing good devices that don’t mimic Apple devices. Tech Talk News: Samsung Tells Australians To Get a Galaxy SIII
Samsung is back at it again with another ploy againt Apple. This time attacking their Map app and how bad it is. This attack took place in the land down under over at Australia, a recent update of iOS 6 map app which lead to tons of errors. The errors in the map app lead Police offciers to help motorists who were stranded in a national park. The Police told the media that the maps on Apple’s iPhone was dangerous, and since then Apple has fixed the situation but not before Samsung could take a few shots.
