Even though Samsung has lost Apple as a client for processor chips, the lost will not affect Samsung’s business or what it plans on doing in 2013. According to Digitimes Samsung plans to “sustain its growth momentum” in 2013. Samsung growth should be coming from the growth of its Galaxy series and Tablets. Samsung Galaxy S IV To Drop In April????
Rumors are now circulating that Samsung is ready to drop their Galaxy IV smartphone in April, but this time with an addition. The word is Samsung plans on dropping the device with a S pen. The is normally accompanied with Samsung’s Tablets and The Note 1 and 2. Samsung maybe looking to combine both worlds. Coming equipped with 5-inch full-HD AMOLED display screen and a quad-core Exynos processor. Samsung is looking to step things up, lets jut hope the GS IV lives up to the hype its building up. OG Galaxy Note Getting Jelly Bean Update
It looks like the og Galaxy Note will be getting the Jelly Bean treatment with the new Premium Suite. Samsung confirmed the update yesterday which will keep the Note update with the GS III and Note 2. Along with the update the Note will get the multi window option which will allow users to multi task, pop-up video/browser/note apps, photo note/photo frame, easy clip, paper artist, and new S Planner and email apps. Samsung Expects to Move 500 Million Mobile Devices in 2013
Despite losing court cases to Apple this year we can say Samsung had a fairly successful 2012. With the success of the GS III and Note II we can only expect bigger things from Samsung in 2013. In 2012 Samsung became the number shipper of mobile devices overtaking falling company Nokia and even out performing Apple in the 3rd quarter this year. For 2013 Samsung expects to move aleast 510 million mobile devices, a 20% increase from 2012.
