Ok so we know Samsung’s Galaxy S IV will have wireless charging when its released, but it looks like Apple will not be releasing its 5s with wireless charging. As usual Apple will not bring anything new to the table when releasing its new device, but they will improve on the internals and a better camera and the are wondering why companies like Samsung are catching up. “We heard 2013 is an ‘S’ year for the iPhone, implying minor design changes with at most the possibility of a fingerprint reader (as well as better cameras, faster processor, and the like), but the design changes to the aluminum shell would need to be significant to make wireless charging possible. So, we don’t think this report is accurate.”
Galaxy S IV To Have Better Battery Life With Green PHOLED Display
Samsung is set to announce the GS IV next week, we all heard all the rumors from the size, what OS it will come stocked with and the eye gestures. Samsung Invests In Which Company???
Samsung just invested 3% into Japanese tech company Sharp. As we all know Sharp is a major player when it comes to supplying Apple parts. Samsung invested about $110 million in the Japanese company for their LCD business. Whats interesting is Apple is a long time partner of company so its almost like Samsung is investing into Apple’s business, but at the same time Sharp has been a rival to Samsung when it comes to the TV market so this was definitely a interesting investment for Samsung. The Wall-street Journal says “For cash-rich Samsung, the move will ensure a stable supply of LCD screens for TV sets from Sharp. The Japanese company is the only LCD manufacturer that currently operates an advanced manufacturing facility—in a separate partnership with Hon Hai—capable of turning out TV panels from the industry’s largest sheets of glass. This allows Sharp to lower the manufacturing costs of TV screens larger than 60 inches. Samsung may also rely on Sharp to supply panels for tablets.”
Samsung Defends Keeping Plastic Build On Galaxy SIV
Fans of the Galaxy S series were hoping the device would come with premium hardware this go around, but the bubble has been popped as an insider suggest the device will come equipped with plastic hardware. Yes, Samsung made a killing with the SIII but their also in the business of making money, with the buzz the GS IV has i’m sure the device will out sell the GS IV and keeping the plastic build.“Since we are shipping really large units, we always have to think how efficiently we can manage the manufacturability and also durability,” Lee told CNET.Lee did acknowledge that there seems to be market demand for metals and high-quality plastics, however, and said the company has tried to strike a balance between firmer build quality and easy manufacturability.

More news and pics just hit Twitter land, concerning the Galaxy SIV. Twitter news outlet @Evleaks leaked out a possible image of the Galaxy SIV. Along with the image came new specs, it was has been rumored that the GS IV would have a 4.99 inch display but now according to new news from @Evleaks the new spec suggest the smartphone is now sporting a 5 inch screen. Along with the new size screen @Evleaks also says, 13MP camera, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage configurations. It’s also rumored to launch with Android 4.2 Jellybean.
