Apple started this year on top of all smartphone manufacturers and still has had a steady increase. Samsung is quickly gaining on Apple’s numbers but can Apple hold on to its OEM lead. More and more people are starting to use Android phones more so and actually Android OS comes in first place so far this year as Apple is second with iOS.


Bestbuy Is Getting Ready For A Major Launch!!!!

It looks like Samsung will have a store with in Bestbuy. Sources at Geek.com were told that the first wave of high traffic Best Buy locations will be receiving instruction to remove two aisles next to their mobile department and prepare to install a new Samsung store. They will have large signage and demo stations for Samsung products. Bestbuy employees will even get special training for this new store with in a store.


Samsung Is Trying To Sell WHAT Company To Amazon?!?!

According to sources Samsung is trying to sell its subsidiary, Liquavista, to Amazon. Samsung is looking to sell the Dutch company for less than $100 million. Liquavista creates electronic-reader display technology in which Samsung in 2011. The reason for Samsung considering to sell the acquisition is because the company didn’t meet its expectations.


Samsung Working On A New Product!!!!!

According to Reuters, Samsung Electronics Co is developing a wearable digital device similar to a wristwatch, a source with direct knowledge of the matter said, joining rival Apple Inc in creating new products as growth of smartphone sales slows. The new wristwatch should perform some of the same tasks as a smartphone. “We’ve been preparing the watch product for so long,” Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of Samsung’s mobile business, told Bloomberg News. “We are working very hard to get ready for it. We are preparing products for the future, and the watch is definitely one of them.”


Whoa!!!!! LG Is Accusing WHO Of Stealing Their Patent?!?!?

LG is accusing Samsung of infringing its eye-tracking patents. The new GALAXY S 4 by Samsung has eye-tracking capabilities called Smart Pause and Optimus G Pro by LG has Smart Video which also has eye-tracking. LG says that in the years 2005 and 2009, they applied for patents for eye-tracking with the ability to pause a video with your eyes and both devices do this. Right now LG has to wait for the release of Galaxy S4 to be positive that their patent was actually infringed.


How Will Samsung Galaxy S4 Compete With Game Consoles?

The processing power in mobile devices is helping smartphones catch up with current generation consoles. With the a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a competitive edge in the smartphone world which opens the door for advance gaming capabilities. Samsung is also working to bring as many as 80 games out that support the GamePad controller by the time the Galaxy S4 launches and EA will have 16 different game titles available for the smartphone in April.
