The Queen Bee is currently in a legal battle with Canadian makeup artist Samantha Ravndahl, who claims the raptress took her creation (above) off of Reddit and used it online to promote her music…with zero credit to Samantha. Back in November, Sam sent a cease and desist for Kim to pull the image, but nothing happened. Now Samantha and her lawyer are preparing to sue for a $150k minimum. I’m not sure she really has a case, though, as it was only Instagram and the artwork for a single that wasn’t sold for profit. Also, a quick glance at Kimmy’s IG and I don’t see the photo anywhere. I’m thinking this won’t get too much further.
Lil Kim Accused Of Stealing!
Kimmie Kimmie KIMMIE! At an attempt of making a comeback, Lil Kim plans on dropping the mixtape, Hardcore 2K13. The latest single, which should appear on said mixtape is, “Dead Gal Walking,” but there’s turned up a slight problem. The single comes with album art that doesn’t belong to her. The Queen Bee has been accused of stealing the photo from make-up artist, Samantha Ravndahl. Ravndahl took to Reddit to post the picture and ask the question, “What do I do if Lil’ Kim stole one of my photos to use as art for her latest album?” Originally, the photo – who is Samantha Ravndahl herself – was used as a part of a tutorial for the unique style of make-up. Without any questions, Kim [allegedly] just used the art for her own personal gain. TSK TSK! QB, you’re better than this! Hit the jump and check out the detail of the photo.
