She eventually fired him when she realized what a bad influence he was, and it makes the latest update in the Amanda Bynes saga that much more crazier. GUESS who bought the troubled actress’ flight from NYC to L.A. last week? Yes, it was Sam! “Sam bought Amanda the plane ticket for her to return to Los Angeles from New York City. She had no money,” a source close to her revealed. “The two became friends in recent months.” When asked by reporters, Lutfi denied that he bought her ticket, but when asked about their friendship, he said, “I have to call you back” and hung up abruptly. The source reveals they’ve also spoken since Amanda’s been under a 5150 hold. I hope someone 86’s this “friendship” ASAP!

Team Britney has scored a major win today, as the ongoing case with her toxic (pun intended) ex manager Sam Lutfi has finally come to an end! For now, at least. The judge residing over the case feels like Sam didn’t provide any evidence that the Spears’ team (as Britney’s affairs are managed by her father in the conservatorship) did anything wrong in letting him go a couple years back. His lawsuit was specifically on grounds that “various members of the Spears family had defamed him, attacked him and breached a management contract he said he had with Britney.” When testifying, his goal was to make Britney look like a crazy drug addict, and that he was the victim.
