A recent study shows that formal sex education actually seems to work. Sex education in schools is a big topic amongst educators and parents, some say schools should teach abstinence while others claim that teaching about safe sex is more important. This new study shows that teens who receive sex ed are more likely to wait longer to have sex than those who receive no education about it. More importantly, teens who did learn about safe sex are more likely to practice it and use contraceptives when they do decide to have sex, which is great news. Read more below. Julie1205
