With all the warnings and news reports about Brazil, to many it seemed totally plausible that Ryan Lochte and the other US Swimmers were robbed. Then the stories started to change and it turned into a big confusing mess that Brazilian officials are trying to clear up.

Ryan Lochte was reportedly robbed of his wallet and ID last night in Rio while taking a cab ride to a party. This is courtesy of Fox Sports Australia reporter Ben Way, who said he spoke with Lochte’s mother, Ileana and she confirmed that Lochte was indeed robbed and called her immediately after. The International Olympic Committee is denying any of this happening, despite Lochte’s mom telling the same story to other news outlets as well.

Weeks ago, we saw this picture of Tina Fey giving a “why am I doing this” thumbs up while standing next to Ryan Lochte while the Olympic hero was filming a guest spot on Fey’s NBC comedy, 30 Rock.
