A freak, scary incident in Anaheim. Blue Jackets forward Cam Atkinson took a skate to the face from Ducks forward Ryan Kesler midway through the third period of Friday’s game.  Atkinson was able to skate off the ice where he was looked at by a trainer.  Luckily for him, the blade just missed his eye but cut his eyelid.
