TMZ is reporting that Katy Perry was the one who asked Russell Brand to file the couple’s divorce papers. The couple had been on rocky grounds for the past few months and failed at trying to work things out. The rumor mill was been turning like crazy this week about the marital status of celeb couple Russell Brand and Katy Perry. However, today Russell Brand confirmed that the two are separating. Katy Perry & Russell Brand Dismiss Divorce Rumors Once Again
For the second time in recent months, a rumor hit the web that Katy and her hubby of just over a year Russell Brand were headed for splittsville. Though sources close to the couple have once again denied it, there do seem to be some major problems there…and even these sources admit that. When I met Katy at Saturday Night Live a couple weeks ago (yep, bragging LOL), her parents were both there with her but hubby wasn’t! Then for Christmas, Katy spent it thousands of miles away in Hawaii with her GIRLS on vacation while Russell was home not doing much. You spend holidays away from eachother when you’re BUSY working on major projects…not for trips! AND they’ve both been spotted without their wedding rings as of late.
