Laurence Fishburne will play Alex Haley in the remake of the 1977 miniseries, Roots: The Saga of an American Family. Roots tells the story of Alex Haley’s ancestor Kunta Kinte and his family’s trials and tribulations, while being enslaved. According To His Publicist, Eminem’s “Roots” Album Is A No Go
Ouch! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I know this will sting, but it looks like there will be no 2015 Eminem release after all. At least not for Roots. Earlier in the week, we heard that Eminem was planning to announce the 2015 album Roots, during the airing of the Grammy Awards.
