(Photo) NBA: Robert Horry Takes Shot At Kobe Bryant With Comparison To Tim Duncan

Robert Horry managed to get himself more championship rings than Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and a ton of other greats. He has seven rings to brag about, although you can argue he didn’t play much of a role in a couple of them but either way, so what? When you win that many titles that means you played with some great players and he damn sure did. He won rings with Olajuwon, Kobe & Duncan but when it comes to the last two guys, he seems to have a favorite.

NBA: Robert Horry on Charles Barkley: “A guy who doesn’t like to practice, a guy who doesn’t work hard”

Horry was a starter on the “Clutch City” Houston championship teams of 1994 and 1995 but just before the 1996-97 season, he was shipped out to Phoenix as part of a trade that brought Barkley to Houston to pair with Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler. That team never got past the Utah Jazz.

NBA: Robert Horry Reflects on the Difficulties of Playing With Kobe Bryant & Setting Him Straight

Before Kobe Bryant spoke Thursday night at “Kobe Up Close Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel,” Robert Horry took the stage.  During that time he praised Bryant but also took some time out to reflect on an altercation the two had during their time together on the LA Lakers.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Dwight Howard Fires Back at Robert Horry … He Will NOT Stop Smiling!

Have you noticed how much Dwight Howard smiles while playing basketball?  Does it bother you?  Not me, I like happy people (as long as the job is getting done).  Apparently Dwight smiling bothers a lot of other fans.  Dwight Howard addressed it after he was blasted through the press by former Laker Robert Horry. (Photos) NBA: Yao Ming Courtside at Lakers/Rockets Game; First Game He’s Watched Since Retirement

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl Houston Rockets won last night 107-104 in a comeback victory against the Lakers. Yao Ming had a courtside seat, the first Rockets game he’s watched since retiring from basketball last summer. The 7-foot-6 center’s career was cut short by injuries, mostly to his left foot. He says he’s healthy now, “good enough for walking, but not good enough for playing basketball.” Yao seemed content on Wednesday night and had no regrets that he and Tracy McGrady could never deliver a championship. “We had this chance before, and we missed it,” Yao said. “There’s no ‘if.’ We just need to face ourselves, and say we did our best and walk away.” Former Rocket and Laker Robert Horry watched the game with Yao.
