Security is finally releasing footage of an incident involving a gunman at Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, N.J. back in the beginning of November. You can see shoppers in a frenzy as Richard Shoop, 20, walks around the mall with an Sig Sauer riffle and even let shots off into the air. The 20 year old has a history of drug abuse and may have been trying to get police to kill him upon their arrival, but ended up committing suicide. To see the footage, click below.

Just hours after shots were fired in the Garden State Plaza mall, the gunman Richard Shoop was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in an area behind the Westfield Garden State Mall in Paramus New Jersey. The body of 20-year-old Shoop was discovered at 3:20 a.m. this morning. It is said that he was found in a sub-storage area of a Foot Locker. Only one person was killed, which was the shooter himself. He had no plans of shooting anyone at the mall, as he had plenty of opportunities to. The mall will be closed today, Garden State Plaza officials say. We will have more as the story unravels.
