Robert Griffin III came into the NFL as the most recent Heisman award winner and highly favored. Following multiple injuries throughout his short NFL career, the former starting QB, finds himself riding the bench as the third-string back up and everyone doubting his purpose. Recently, NBC Analyst, Rodney Harrison added insult to injury, making a comment calling RGIII a “flat out jerk.”

Prior to the season kicking off, reports indicated that Washington might be considering to move RGIII; however, it seems that they may be holding on to him for the remainder of the season.

Could it possibly be an end to the Redskins’ RGIII?! Well, Griffin throwing only 106 yards in a very close loss to the San Francisco 49ers this past Sunday was enough for coach Jay Gruden to make a final decision. As of now, RGIII has been given the boot, as Colt McCoy is set to start as QB in Sunday’s game against the Colts.
