NFL: Redskins Pick Up Robert Griffin III’s Option But Says They’ll Still Draft QB If Available

Things haven’t been going so well for Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins.  Many people thought the team would move on but they instead chose to pick up his 2016 option.  That however hasn’t secured Griffin’s place as their go-to quarterback, general manager Scot McCloughan says the team will still draft a quarterback if that’s the best player available.
