NFL: Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan Denies Report That He Wants to Get Fired
A report came out that Rex Ryan wanted out of the circus that is the New York Jets, the circus he helped create by the way. In the report is was said that Ryan wanted some serious changes in personnel including the firing of offensive coordinator Tony Sparano. Ryan however has come out and denied the allegations. NFL: (Report) Rex Ryan Wants To Get Fired??
Now if I was part of the Jets organization I probably would want to be fired also. They became a joke in the NFL this season. More of a show off the field instead of on it. It is being reported that coach Rex Ryan would rather be fired if things do not change with the team this off-season. Mainly reports say he is referring to owner Woody Johnson making some changes regarding personnel. It is not likely he will be fired since he is still owed $6 million, but you never know. In my opinion he should be fired because he himself causes the circus like atmosphere that surrounds the team at times. Most believe that also includes offensive coordinator Tony Soprano, who’s suspect play calling considering the team they have was bad most of the season. After news broke that Sanchez was getting benched, most thought Tebow would start but of course that wasn’t the case. So why did Rex Ryan chose Greg McElroy over Tim Tebow? NFL: Mark Sanchez Throws Away Jets’ Playoff Hopes; Rex Ryan Reacts
Sorry Jets fans. It’s o-v-e-r and it was u-g-l-y! Mark Sanchez turned the ball over 5 times (threw 4 interceptions) as the Jets took a 14-10 L to the Titans last night. Sanchez has 24 turnovers this season and 50 total in the past two seasons combined. I’m curious to know what Jets’ fans think?
