In BALLING OUT OF CONTROL news, Revolt TV’s head honcho Diddy has reportedly bid a whopping $200 million to buy out cable network Fuse, in order to merge Revolt with them to “gain wider distribution and higher subscriber fees.” Currently, Fuse is available in almost 74 million households, while Revolt is only available via Time Warner Cable in very select cities. Combs is said to be one of several bidders eying the network, which is currently owned by Madison Square Garden Co. “As we have stated, we are exploring strategic alternatives for Fuse, and will have no further comment during what is still an ongoing process,” MSG spokeswoman Kimberly Kerns said in a statement. I’m interested to see what will happen!
As several artists took over NYC last week for the Super Bowl, Revolt Tv was able to catch up with the man of the hour, OVO’s own Drake! And tonight they will be airing their Drake special; hit the jump for more!
Aired last night during the Super Bowl, Drake and Diddy starred in Time Warner Cable’s latest ad spot, “Grandma’s House.” Granny must be loaded, too…as the commercial caught the cable company a whopping $4 million for the coveted time slot. No worries, though. I’m sure Diddy’s Revolt TV channel will make all that back and then some! Check out the commercial below.
During a recent sit-down with RevoltTV, L.O.X. rapper Jadakiss gave his personal take on the Grammy Awards. Jada explained how the Grammy’s are just “not geared towards Hip-Hop,” in reference to Macklemore sweeping almost every Hip-Hop category. Click below and see what else the D-Block OG had to say for himself.
Revolt TV is making major moves!! Diddy’s new digital cable music channel went live with its first show yesterday (from NY), aptly titled Revolt Live. For the first show, Wiz Khalifa & Mack Wilds both made an appearance and Knicks baller J.R. Smith was also interviewed. Of course as usual some fans had to go in on what JR was wearing. While sweats probably wasn’t the best option, can the guy live?! He rocked a Gucci blazer, a Public School button up, Acne sweats & a pair of Timberland boots. Check out the outfit & what some fans had to say about it (I did have to laugh at the Where’s Waldo comment – Lol)…
