TMZ reports that Birdman is putting together a reunion tour that will include Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, Turk and some of the artists he’s signed recently (likely Jacquees, Trev Rich, etc.) He’s looking to kick it off in February, and the goal is to out-do Diddy’s Bad Boy reunion tour from this year. It’s the 20th anniversary of Cash Money so Birdman wants to do it big, but how big can it be without Wayne!
Cool Like That: Digable Planets Announce Reunion Tour
Following their New Year’s Eve performance this year, the beginning of the reunion of Digable Planets has begun to take effect. This summer, the legendary hip-hop group will embark on a full tour throughout July and August. Most of the announced dates are in the South and Mid-Atlantic regions, with more dates (and surely an NYC show) TBA. Pusha T also joins the group on the last date of the tour. Outkast Joins Twitter; Announce 40 Festival Dates For ‘Reunion’ Tour!
This year makes 20 years of Outkast as a group (whoa!), so Big Boi and Andre 3000 are linking back up for the first time in years and hitting the road in a major way! It was originally reported the duo would be kicking off the ‘reunion tour’ of sorts at Coachella, and possibly do a few other dates following. However, joining social media today via the @Outkast handle, it has been revealed they will be performing at over 40 different stops!
