NFL: Marshawn Lynch Makes It Clear He’s Staying Retired: “I’m done. I’m not playing football anymore”

During the Super Bowl, Lynch tweeted a picture literally hanging up his cleats to announce his retirement.  Since then, there’s been speculation that maybe he could come back; his teammate Richard Sherman added to that by saying he wouldn’t put a change of heart past Lynch. But in his first public interview since announcing his retirement, Lynch officially closed the door on coming back.

Seems like iLoveMakonnen is none too happy with his music career right now, and is reportedly going to leave the industry for good. However, this is the same guy who openly admits he’s on various drugs often, so this could simply be empty threats and/or high tweets. “If I could release music how I wanted I wouldn’t retire, but then if did that, so many would have to to just retire, so ill accept retire,” Makonnen – who recently left Drake’s label – tweeted over the weekend. He went on to say that he can’t deal with all of the fake in the music industry, but he did promise there will be a little more on the horizon from him, as he still has to fulfill some contractual obligations he’d previously committed to.

With his trash talk and boastful declarations about running UFC, it appeared that Conor McGregor would be around for quite some time, then two things happened.  1. He suffered a shocking defeat to Nate Diaz 2. Joao Carvalho died from injuries suffered during a fight earlier this month that was attended by McGregor.  A rematch between McGregor and Diaz is set for UFC 200 on July 9, but McGregor posted a shocking tweet that has everybody confused.

Adam LaRoche made major headlines when he decided to retire and walk away from the Chicago White Sox after they asked him to stop bringing his son to the clubhouse everyday.  Had LaRoche played for just six more months, he would’ve received $13 million.  Many people applauded him for putting his family first while others criticized him for being absurd, citing that other people can’t bring their children to work either.  LaRoche opened up about the situation with ABC News.
