Gregg Popovich is the best coach in the league and one of the best coaches of all time.  Unfortunately for San Antonio fans he’s going to have to retire at some point but according to Popovich he won’t do so until Tim Duncan does.  Read more after the jump.

(Video) Boxing: Floyd Mayweather Jr. Announces His Retirement Date

Floyd Mayweather was in attendance for the Final Four games last night at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.  He was  interviewed by CBS between the Louisville-Wichita State and Michigan-Syracuse games to promote his upcoming May 4 fight with Robert Guerrero.  He recently signed a huge deal with Showtime for up to six fights over the next two and half years.  At 36-years-old, Mayweather plans to hang up his golden gloves at the completion of the deal.  Read more after the jump.

NBA: Veteran Al Harrington Wants to Retire on His Own Terms

At age 33, after 14 seasons in the NBA, Al Harrington has had a good career. He’s averaged 13.7 points a game with 5.7 rebounds.  His career is winding down. He’s fought hard to bounce back from knee surgery only to find himself on a Magic team that is going with a youth movement — they told him he likely will not see the court again this year.  Read more after the jump.
