President Obama has called on Congress for new and tougher restrictions on the assault weapons ban including 10 round limit on magazine clips. Also, he trying to bar the possession and importation of armor-piercing bullets and to require criminal background checks for every single gun sale that’s being made. It’s about time someone is putting their foot down. This is something that the government should have saw coming and fixed way before the gun thing got out of control. Obama shows us his 23 step plan towards anti-gun violence. Starting with 1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system. Then, ending with 23. In the past, Philly raised rapper, Meek Mill was arrested and went to prison on gun and drug charges. His past is still being held against him. Meek had an appointment with his probation officer that he missed due to Hurricane Sandy (mother natures fault). Because of the flights and everything being closed down he had to DRIVE from NY (where he was at) back to his hometown, but on the way he got pulled over and arrested for tinted windows. Now, what Meek wants to do is get his travel restrictions lifted so that he can make it to his shows, support his family, and make sure that the younger generation sees that you can make it from the hood. Monday is when Meek is suppose to got to court and make his plea. I say let the man TRAVEL! If he wanted to run, he could have been did that. He’s made his way and his past actions are just that.
