Adding to the list of others such as T.I., J. Cole and Sybrina Fulton, Attorney General Eric Holder reaches out to the residents of Ferguson, MO. Holder ensures that the FBI is doing all they can to investigate the death of Michael Brown and also asks for the public’s cooperation. Holder expresses that there are more than 40 FBI agents and some of the Civil Rights Division’s most experienced prosecutors that have been called out to handle what’s happening in the town. Making a pledge, AG Holder writes, “Our investigation into this matter will be full, it will be fair, and it will be independent.” He adds, “beyond the investigation itself, we will work with the police, civil rights leaders, and members of the public to ensure that this tragedy can give rise to new understanding.” Hit the jump to check out the letter in its entirety.
