It’s been just about a week since South Carolina made the decision to remove the confederate flag from their statehouse grounds. The decision came after a racially charged shooting took place at a Charleston, SC church, and nine people were left dead. Since the decision artists and celebrities have been voicing their opinions about the decision to remove the confederate flag and all the social issues surrounding it. The controversial Confederate Flag has been causing an uproar through out the country ever since domestic terrorist and Confederate Flag supporter, Dylann Roof, murdered the #TheCharleston9 at Emmanuel AME Baptist Church last month. Today, the South Carolina Senate voted to remove the flag from the State House grounds.
