First and foremost this is no laughing matter, the three women involved in this following story are truly embarrassed and upset about what had happened. Three women found themselves upset after receiving their check at a restaurant in Cali and reading what their table had been named in the system that was taking orders. The top of the receipt read “FAT GIRLS” meaning that the waiter had named the table this and unintentionally handed them the receipt with the name. It’s hard enough to wait on people and make minimum wage, but this poor Applebee’s waitress really got it bad. Waiters and waitresses usually make the bulk of their money through tips, and unfortunately one person couldn’t respect that. (NSFW) SMH! Look At What A Customer Wrote On Her Waiter’s Receipt
A waiter at a TGI Fridays in Memphis, Tennessee got an interesting message along with his tip. He was serving a table with at least one woman, who judging from the message, found him to be attractive and they certain let him know! I’ve always thought it was tacky to hit on a server or customer by writing on a receipt, but this is taking it too far. When asked about the incident, the TGI Fridays simply said, “our policy is that teammates are not supposed to take pictures of receipts because there may or may not be compromised information on them,” but didn’t address what they did about the message.
