Kobe Bryant sure didn’t need a movie role to make him famous, but it would of been dope to see him in the role. The lead role in the classic basketball movie “He Got Game” was initially offered to him by director Spike Lee. Kobe turned it down and Ray Allen wound up getting the lead. People to this day still joke about Allen’s acting skills, but I think he did a decent job. I doubt Kobe would of been any better of an actor. I wonder how the movie would of done in the box office if Kobe accepted the offer. Hit the jump to see what he said.

Yesterday, we ran the story about Lebron James feeling Kevin Garnett & Paul Pierce owe former Celtics teammate Ray Allen an apology. Lebron felt that after the way KG & Pierce treated Allen for leaving Boston to join the Heat, that they were hypocrites for themselves leaving Boston for Brooklyn. Lebron does have a point. I know Garnett & Pierce were technically traded, but it was a trade they both wanted to happen, which is why KG waived his no-trade clause so the deal would go through. Even former Celtics coach Doc Rivers made sure he got out of town before Boston became a rebuilding team. KG, never one to back down from something fired back at Lebron. Hit the jump.

The Miami Heat didn’t waste anytime celebrating their second straight NBA championship. And why should they? After a long intense season like that, which took alot of dedication and hard work they deserve to celebrate to the fullest and pop a bunch of bottles. Drake got denied access into the Heat locker room after the game, but he made sure to link up with Bron’ and them at club Story in Miami. Check Lebron out on the mic in the videos after the jump and he is just feeling the atmosphere in the club and gets hype to “Pop That” lol. Maybe some other NBA players will take notice that you celebrate and get drunk AFTER you accomplish something, not in the middle of the journey. Danny Green of the Spurs even showed up to show love and respect. For last night at least in Miami, Lebron was truly worshiped as “King” James.
