Everything was going right for the Knicks last night in their win over the Miami Heat. Shot were falling, they were playing team ball, everyone was making an effort. One of the best plays of the night came courtesy of rookie Tim Hardaway Jr, who threw down a sick dunk off a missed jumper by Amar’e Stoudemire, right over the back of Ray Allen. It immediately brought the garden to it’s feet. Hit the jump.

NBA: Doc Rivers Says Rift Between Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett & Paul Pierce Will Be Fixed
It’s no secret that there’s a rift between Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. When Allen chose to join the Miami Heat rather than re-sign with the Boston Celtics, Garnett and Pierce considered him a traitor. Since then Garnett and Pierce have been traded to the Brooklyn Nets and coach Doc Rivers left to coach the LA Clippers but there’s still tension amongst them. It’s something Rivers would like to end and is willing to help if he has to.

In 2008 the Boston Celtics won the NBA championship with the team camaraderie of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen and led by coach Doc Rivers. The bond between them seemed unbreakable but then the business side of the league amongst other things stepped in and drove everyone their separate ways. Apparently there’s still some ill blood amongst them.
Kicks: Ray Allen Rocks Exclusive Air Jordan 11 “Two Rings” PE
Ray Allen of the Miami Heat, has been blessed with one of the flyest pair of kicks ever. For his championship rings from 2008 & 2013, Nike gifted him an Air Jordan 11 PE titled “Two Rings”. The kick features a white/red/gold color way with a special “34” replacing the typical “23” on the back heel. Inside each tongue, a year is embroidered, one states 2008 the other is 2013 for the winning years. The gold and red color options Nike picked couldn’t have been better.
