The Rae Sremmurd duo had quite the year in 2014 with the success of their singles “No Type” and “No Flex Zone,” and now it’s culminated in this week’s release of their debut album, SremmLife. Usher Raymond brought out the dynamic due Rae Sremmurd during his concert at the Philips Arena in Atlanta to perform their club banger hit “No Type” for the packed crowd. As the two rappers rocked the crowd, Usher was on stage enjoying their performance just as much as the concert goers were! Mike WiLL Made It’s protegees Rae Sremmurd got their name from Mike’s Drummer’s Ear label, obviously spelling it backwards to switch it up a bit. (You’re welcome for the ‘mind blown’ moment if you weren’t aware of that.) To have some fun, MTV linked up with the duo – who individually go by Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy – to challenge them with a backwards spelling bee. Using words like their record label’s name (Interscope,) random objects and even their own names, the duo make an attempt at doing things backward and, well…the results are the hilarity below.
