The white former NAACP leader who believes she’s black, Rachel Dolezal has now changed her name to Nkechi Amare Diallo. Nkechi is short for Nkechinyere in the Nigerian language of Igbo, and translates to “gift of god.” I mean I guess it’s pretty distinct.
Rachel Dolezal Says She Is Broke, Jobless, Friendless & Nearly Homeless
The “transracial” woman, Rachel Dolezal, got 15 minutes of fame in 2016 when it was discovered she had been lying about being black for years. Unfortunately, the “fame” caused her to resign from her role as branch president of the NAACP, be fired from her job as an adjunct instructor at Eastern Washington University and lose her column at a local newspaper. She did not make much money elsewhere either. Because of this, she is reportedly on the brink of homelessness.
Rachel Dolezal Gets Two Thumbs Up On Baby’s Name From Langston Hughes Estate
In case you missed it, the infamous former NAACP leader, Rachel Dolezal gave birth to a healthy baby boy Tuesday February 16th, 2016. While, Dolezal has kept the ethnicity of her baby’s father under wraps, she gave the newborn a name with strong Black roots. Dolezal named her third child, Langston Attickus Dolezal, after black poet and civil rights activist Langston Hughes and “To Kill a Mockingbird’s” Atticus Finch. The infamous former NAACP leader, Rachel Dolezal gave birth to a healthy baby boy Tuesday February 16th, 2016. Since announcing her pregnancy Dolezal has been hush, hush on the ethnicity of her baby’s father, however she gave him a name with strong black roots. The third child for Dolezal, she named her son Langston Attickus Dolezal. Reports indicate she probably named him after several prominent figures in black history. Langston; after black poet and civil rights activist Langston Hughes. Attickus; after from “To Kill a Mockingbird’s” Atticus Finch, who was a white lawyer who defended a wrongfully accused black man. However, there’s a twist here, she added the letter “K” to the middle name, which may pay homage to Crisups Attucks; a black man who was the first American casualty in the Revolutionary War. The infamous Rachel Dolezal appeared on The Real today, and though we all already knew this (hence why she was let go of her role as President of NAACP’s Spokane chapter,) she finally admitted that she was lying, and she is not biologically black.
